ISO154898 - Records Management, and ISO30300 Management System for Records (series) were world firsts for the RIM industry.  In particular, ISO 30301 – Management System for Records (MSR) – Requirements, gave us the ability of assessing management's roles, responsibilities and requirements for recordkeeping, but no way of auditing against the Standard for compliance.  The Records and Information Management Professionals Alliance (RIMPA Global) is now pleased to announce that the MSRS (the scheme) gives us the ability to use internal or approved 3rd party auditors to assess our recordkeeping practices and processes for compliance.
