Bio:

Dr. Darra Hofman, MARA Coordinator for San Jose State University, received their Ph.D. in library, archival, and information science from The University of British Columbia in 2020. They completed their M.L.I.S. from the University of Kentucky and their J.D. and B.A. (honors) from Arizona State University. Their research on the intersection of archives, technology, and law has been published in various journals, conference proceedings, and edited collections. They are particularly interested in privacy, blockchain technologies, and health records.
